There are certain cases where the construction of the home and placement of the appliances require us to install B-Vent pipe over the standard stainless steel application.
You may also see B-Vent application being recommended when the appliances are vented into a masonry chimney that is experiencing deterioration. Often, our technicians will recommend removing the masonry chimney down below the roofline, installing a stainless steel liner to vent the appliances, connecting the liner to the b-vent pipe at the roofline to extend out of the roof to code. This allows us to provide a cost-effective and long-term solution to exterior venting of appliances, vs. fully rebuilding the masonry structure or continuously revisiting masonry issues or leaks.
